UCSB Extension makes every effort to accommodate all students wishing to
participate in the Open Enrollment Program. However, to maintain UCSB’s
standards for academic performance and student behavior, the following
students are not eligible to enroll in Open Enrollment courses:

Students denied admission to, or students dismissed or suspended
from, the University of California
-
Students with a cumulative G.P.A.
of less than 2.0
-
Students with outstanding debts at any UC campus
-
Students failing
to meet the English language requirement
-
UCSB students registered
for the current quarter
-
UCSB students whose academic standing
is one of the following: academically disqualified,
dismissed by dean’s action, subject to disqualification,
reinstatement-probation

Any person denied access
to the UCSB campus by court, university, or police
order Students requesting an exception to this
policy must provide written approval from the appropriate
UC authority to be considered for Open Enrollment.
