The Open Enrollment Program (formerly known as the Concurrent Enrollment Program) administered by UCSB Extension allows you to enroll in UCSB regular session courses held on campus, experience the rewards of learning from distinguished faculty while you attend classes with regularly enrolled students, pay for courses on a per unit basis, and earn transferable units—all without being formally admitted to UCSB.

Open Enrollment is an ideal program if you: are thinking about returning to school but are not sure if you want to become a full-time student; need to finish a few units to complete a degree; need to study specific subjects related to your professional field; or just wish to take courses for personal enrichment.
